Jackson Hole, WY
Welcome to my mini guide to Jackson Hole, WY! Last summer, my family and I explored many states in the “Wild West” and visited many national parks along the way! After staying in Yellowstone, we headed to Jackson Hole, which has become one of my new favorite cities. I love the atmosphere downtown, and the scenery is beautiful. We stayed at the Snow King Resort just below the mountain, and the location was great; we could easily walk everywhere. We were also in Jackson Hole for the fourth of July, and the fireworks were unreal! Overall, I would definitely recommend making a stop in Jackson Hole if you are planning to travel to Wyoming, and now I would love to come back in the winter to ski here!
Here is a little guide with some of my favorite restaurants and must-try spots:
1. Glorietta Tratoria
On our first night, my whole family was craving Italian, so I did some research to find this spot a bit off the main part of town, but the food did not disappoint! We sat at a table outside under lights, and the ambiance was 10/10. We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were homemade and perfectly crispy. For pastas, we decided to order family style and went with the spaghetti, campanelle, and ricotta cavatelli. Let me just say, I have tried lots of high quality pasta in my life, and the campanelle with pesto, chili, and bread crumbs was my favorite and reminded me of Italy! To top off the amazing food and service, my sister (a chocoholic) insisted we order dessert, so we shared a rich dark chocolate truffle with ice cream and it was delishhhh!!
2. Gather
This was a newer and more modern restaurant which I was excited to try out. The menu has tons of unique options, and the toasted quinoa tabouli just called my name! With that, we ordered brussels sprouts for the table, which were insaneeee! I’m pretty sure these were the best brussels I’ve ever tasted, topped with white balsamic vinaigrette, pipitas, cranberries, and pecorino. I’m going to try and make these at home!
3. Cafe Genevieve
If you’re looking for a solid breakfast spot (they serve lunch and dinner too), then Cafe Genevieve is the place to go. Great service, high quality food!
4. Pearl Street Bagels
On our way out of Jackson Hole, we stopped at Pearl Street Bagels for a quick breakfast. It’s the perfect place if you are on the go and want a yummy bagel sandwich. The workers inside slice and smear at lightning speed, and there are so many options! The smoothie also surprised me and tasted great, and is the perfect option to balance out the bagel overload (lol).
5. Pearl Street Market
Great for grab-and-go, fresh and delicious options readily made.
6. Cowboy Coffee
Perfect afternoon pick-me-up!
Shopping
Altitude
cutest boutique, many of the pieces inside here are expensive and high end, but I found so much inspiration in the way the shop styles each outfit on display.
Made
filled with lots of unique and handmade gifts, stickers, jewelry, and the cutest hand drawn cards!
Thank you for reading my guide to Jackson Hole, and if you ever check out any of these places, let me know! I’m obviously not the Jackson Hole expert, but I hope this helps, and if you have any other recommendations, leave a comment!
