Lisbon, Portugal
A lovely weekend trip to Lisbon, I was such a fan of this city and already want to go back!
To do and see—
Belem Tower & Monestary (get famous pastel pastry at Pasteis de Belem after !!!)
Oldest bookstore in the world: Livraria Bertrand
Shopping in Carma
Lisbon Cathedral
Pink Street
Take a TukTuk tour around! Such a fun way to see the city
to eat—
Cosmo’s- cozy new restaurant/bar just opened, so vibey great drinks and small plates
Lupita Pizzeria- MUST GO!!! Fun delish perfect lunch or casual dinner spot- definitely popular and pulls in a crowd so recommend going around noon to beat the rush and get the ricotta lemon zest ZA
Fabric Bakery- middle eastern inspired cafe/coffee shop
Time Out Market- great if you want to eat at a time when restaurants are closed or want a taste of different restaurants in Lisbon all in one place! We stopped here a few times for food/treats and loved
Try the pastels (egg custard tarts)- loved Pasteis de Belem but Mantegeria also delish, other famous treats we tried in Lisbon included Pavlova and Travesseiros de Sintra
Dear Breakfast- amazing brunch with a few locations, always a line but it moves! Turkish eggs and breakfast sandwich ftw
Ara Cafe
Copenhagen Coffee Lab
BonJardim- famous for roasted chicken, sea bream was amazing as well
On the list for next time in Portugal—
Ponto Final- restaurant across the water (have to take ferry) with fresh seafood and sunset dinner view
Prado Mercearia- small plates wine bar
Sintra day trip
Porto, Madeira, and the Algarve Coast
xoxo,
